Superhumans Center expands services to children in Ukraine through donation from H.M. Queen Silvia’s Foundation – Care About the Children

Superhumans Center has received an 800,000 SEK ($78,500) grant from H.M. Queen Silvia’s Foundation – Care about the Children that will enable the medical center to expand its mental health services to children in Ukraine who have lost limbs and need a prothesis and to the parents of children who have lost limbs, as a result of Russia’s war on Ukraine.

Superhumans Center is a world-class medical center in Ukraine that provides specialized care to Ukrainians wounded by war. Opened in 2023, Superhumans’ patients receive comprehensive care free of charge. Superhumans provides prosthetics, rehabilitation, and mental health treatment. First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska is a member of the board and Minister of Health of Ukraine Victor Lyashko is a member of the medical board.

This Superhumans project aims to improve the quality of life of children who have been traumatized by war by providing psychological support. Children who need care are getting lost in the medical system and often not referred to the right specialists. Superhumans Center seeks to provide mental health services and prosthetics to traumatized children in Ukraine, and with support from CATCH, Superhumans will begin to build mental health services for children.
