The conference will bring together Ukrainian and international experts, physicians, rehabilitation specialists, mental health professionals, and specialists in pain management, infection control and the organisation of medical care.
The focus of the event is not a single specialty or a single stage of treatment, but the complete journey of a patient with combat trauma: from evacuation, stabilisation and surgical treatment to prosthetics, rehabilitation, psychological support, and the return to autonomy, work, family and life in the community.
It is a space for professional exchange, discussion of complex clinical decisions, presentation of Ukraine’s experience in military medicine, and the shaping of new approaches to integrated care for patients with severe consequences of war.
The event will be useful for surgeons, traumatologists, physicians in physical and rehabilitation medicine, physical therapists, occupational therapists, prosthetics specialists, psychologists, anaesthesiologists, specialists in pain management and infection control, healthcare managers, researchers and representatives of organisations working in the field of combat trauma, rehabilitation and recovery.
